Bills's Bait House Catfish Tournament

August 31st/September 1st

Bill's Bait House Labor Day Team Catfish Tournament
Registration begins on August 31st at 6pm at Bill's Bait House. Participants must register between 6pm and 7pm on August 31st.
**Each team MUST register themselves in person on August 31st.
$50 for a team of two people or $25 for a single person team. 100% Payout.
Tournament Specifics:
*All livewells MUST be checked prior to the start of the tournament.
*Participants can fish from the bank or fish from a boat.
*All fishing MUST be done at Lake White for this tournament. Participants are not allowed to fish any other body of water for this tournament. Any violations will result in a disqualification.
*All ODNR regulations apply
*Maximum of two people per boat
*Participants can fish in a team of two or participants can fish by themselves.
*Maximum of 3 fishing poles per person
*All fish must be caught on a fishing rod/reel
*Trotlines and jugging are prohibited
*There is a five fish limit per team.
*All species of catfish can be weighed in
*Dead fish will not be weighed in
*This is a team event.
*Anyone who witnesses fishermen violating the tournament rules must bring it to the tournament director's attention at the weigh-in.
*Fish are not allowed to be given to someone else fishing the tournament to weigh in for their total weight or big cat. Doing so will result in disqualification.
*Everyone should have an adequate method to keep the fish alive during the tournament and for the weigh in.
Weigh-in begins at 7am on Sunday September 1st at Bill's Bait House.
Payout:
75% First Place/25% Big Cat (fewer than ten participants)
50% First Place/ 25% Second Place/25% Big Cat (10 or more participants) Big Cat will also receive a Mad Katz rod, reel, and a blue LED cyclops headlamp in addition to payout.
3rd Place: $50 Bill's Bait House (10 or more participants)
All participants must be in the parking lot at Bill's Bait House by 7am to weigh in their fish. Anyone who arrives past 7am will be disqualified. Stop by Bill's Bait House with any questions.
